Privacy policy

We do not collect your personal information and we don’t pass on your email address to anyone, even when you join the forums or mailing lists

However, we do use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (which DOES NOT include your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies, click here where you will find an ‘Opt out’ button which can further protect your privacy.

You know what cookies are, right? (If not; here’s some useful info.)

This site uses cookies to track visitors using Google Analytics (their privacy policy is here) – we do this so we can see how many visitors we get, how long they stay, where they are from and what articles are popular and so on. However, we don’t collect any information that identifies you specifically. We also use Google Adwords to serve up adverts that, if the system knows your preferences and interests might show you something you are actually interested in, rather than something you would never want to know about. That uses cookies too. If you like a page using Facebook or send Twitter message about a page and so on, no doubt there will be a cookie involved in showing you you’ve done it. Same with chat and any other methods of sharing. This is the way web pages work.

We don’t exploit your private information by doing this, we don’t share personal information about you and unless you actually click an advert, we don’t even make any money from your visit (hint).

You can opt-out of having cookies stored on your browsing device. If you want to do more, you can download a plugin for your browser here that will help you opt-out of a lot of sites and stop them tracking your activity.
